Warren, the twenty-fourth Kentucky county, was created in 1796 from part of Logan County. It is named for General Joseph Warren. Bowling Green is the county seat. The Warren County Clerk, whose duties are numerous and diverse, records and maintains various legal instruments and Fiscal Court records.
